Come, Come, whoever you are, wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving, it doesn’t matter. Even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come.

-Jalaluddin Rumi, 13th century Persian poet

Light will someday split you open even if your life is now a cage. For a divine seed, the crown of destiny is hidden and sown on an ancient fertile plain you hold the title to.

-Hafiz, 13th century Persian poet

Lawrence Community Sanctuary

We come together in order to connect with each other and with Spirit.

Christian historians tell us that early Christians gathered in each other’s homes and meditated with each other in order to establish direct and personal connections with Spirit.  We follow in their footsteps by coming together with open hearts and simple intentions.

Thus, our community becomes our sanctuary.
